Idk, I know a fan can still be a fan without being in love with their idol…and even if you’re not a fan having someone so famous so nearby “should” makes people curious.
Upon analyzing this further, I believe that Bakugou was fully convinced that Kirishima was “just a crazy fan” & thats why he needed to cut the string but now that he sees that Kirishima doesnt even bother him, a famous hero living next door!! His brain is probably realizing that maybe there WAS more
