Mij, als het goed is.
Arrived just in time. Having fancy crackers, international cheeses and some bubbly for new years.
Which is why I have had my own server for years now. For anyone who does not want to put up with that I can recommend Proton.
With Qi2 and their patent on magnetic ring placement and use. Which causes the nonsense Pixel lock or what ever for google to be just engineered different enough to touch apple's patent and why most other companies have just not bothered to integrate and use magnetic cases that do not breach patents
With Silicon Carbon, the brands using them most are all ex BBK brands. And these BBK brands together outsell apple on total phones and 80-90% of their phones are silicon/carbon.
So I do think there is enough volume. Could also be that BBK has the patent like the same bullshit apple is pulling 1/2
I have no idea who you are but i hope you'll raise enough to save your cat. I'm not rich so could not support you with a huge amount. Hope it helps.
Jealous of the mizunara! Have a lovely time!
Whisky in Leiden was on Yesterday in one of Leiden's oldest churches. Was there with about 130 Japanese whiskies. 2000 enthousiasts visited the event.
There is a security and border checkpoint in Lille too. Or at least, there always has been. As the UK was never in Schengen.
@eurostarnews.bsky.social Why no tickets to and from Lille from The Netherlands?
Are we lovers of Northern French Cuisine not worth the stop?
Damn it. I just want to go eat some Welsh from Rotterdam for lunch and then be home again by dinner time. They should let me do that too.
It is indeed a nice drop. If you can even get a 15yo miyagikyo then please try that.
If you have had age statements miyagikyo before, mouth wise it goes towards the 12. It's miles ahead of the current non age one.
Left. Because it's Hella good.
I really enjoyed this fresh Shizuoka single cask for The Whisky Plus (acorn's shop) Tokyo. So I bought another one.
Some new Saburomaru bottles came in.
These are about โฌ120 for me. Worth the different flavour profile for me. I do realise I pay less than most. Normal retail is about โฌ160.
Just got the new 5th Batch Saburomaru in. A 50ppm peated whisky with Highland malt from Crisp Maltings. Flavour profile is like that of Highland Park. But more interesting in my opinion. This batch is called: IV The Emperor. This is the 5th Batch as #1 was called 0. Hunt down Saburomaru if you can!
I don't like all of their whiskies, but enough of them. They experiment a lot with barrels and peat so it's never boring. They do ship some of their stuff to Europe if you want to try it sometime. But not all of it and I was looking forward to try the maple syrup barrel they did for Christmas.
Had these just now. Love the Turf trail DC. It's a really unique earthy smoke that is more prevalent in their Gravedigger malts. It's in my opinion something cool to discover.
Trying some German single malt cask samples this Christmas.
Some amazing barrels to look forward to.
Tried the 50. It is stunning, but not worth the price though.
I agree with you but if you do get a chance sometime, compare different batches Yamazaki 18 and you will notice the difference. It's not a good thing in my opinion. It's never bad, just different. There is so much more fun Japanese whisky to discover aside from Suntory and Nikka.
Yamazaki of course.
Hakushu is also much more consistent in flavour profile where as the Yamasaki differs too much batch by batch.
So it really depends on which batch you compare it with. Though I do think for me Hakushu will always win.
The importer for Austria reached out to me because apparently Komagatake does not sell there. They had a huge surplus of their single cask and offered me to buy bottles for 1/3 of retail. Free shipping on over 12. So I asked some friends and now received 51 bottles.
I recently managed to get my hands on the Second release in the Art of Tsunuki series.
This is a bourbon barrel version while the first release was a sherry cask release.
This small batch Nagahama single malt was aged in ex red and white Mont Perrat wine from France. They experimented first with a world blended malt under their Amahagan world blended malt.
They liked it enough to finish a batch of their single malt in these barrels. Looking forward to try this soon.
Really nice looking single cask Nagahama from a bourbon barrel for the Taiwan market. Love the little band around the neck.
Reviewing this soon.
