This winter surely has been strange in Northern Norway with peaks of loads of snow followed by rain and melt 😮‍💨

The last glacial cycle in southernmost Patagonia: A review This paper systematically reviews the geomorphological and geochronological evidence of the last glacial cycle (∼115-11.7 ka) south of 52°S in souther…

🚨New paper!🚨

Very happy to share my first first-author paper from my PhD

We review the last glacial cycle in southernmost Patagonia and present an updated empirical reconstruction of PIS evolution.

Mega El Niño instigated the end-Permian mass extinction The ultimate driver of the end-Permian mass extinction is a topic of much debate. Here, we used a multiproxy and paleoclimate modeling approach to establish a unifying theory elucidating the heightene...

Resolving the paradox of conflicting glacial chronologies: Reconstructing the pattern of deglaciation of the Magellan cordilleran ice dome (53–54°S) during the last glacial – interglacial transition Raised shorelines and associated lacustrine sediments in the central Estrecho de Magallanes (Strait of Magellan) have been interpreted as products of …

🚨New paper!🚨

We present evidence that the Lateglacial lake in the Magellan Strait was dammed by rapid GIA uplift after deglaciation rather than a 100 km glacier re-advance during the ACR

Really happy to be involved in this project led by Bob McCulloch
