I truly wish Capcom was at least willing to speak with SAG-AFTRA about doing this game union.

I expressed that I'd even be willing to work on a LOWER-budget union contract if it meant this flipped.

It genuinely wasn't about the money for me.

Did a double take when I saw this email.

For what this means, it's basically that the client began the process to make it a union game, alerting its cast that it would be union, but then did not actually complete the process to do so.

These notices can be rescinded should everything be fixed.

I would love this but I think in practice it would require a big Move in terms of licensing because I suspect most studio owners would be afraid that it would require them to renegotiate rights every time they wanted to rerelease or whatever. It's on the same level of "spooky" as profitshare

one of the very last things I implemented fairly late-in-dev was an animation queueing system for dialogue that was designed to be mash-safe, prioritize playing anims in full, and gracefully exit if the player was blasting through them a conversation. 100% blueprint
