ICE has just executed another resident of Minneapolis. These agents are completely untrained, brutal and ruthlessly armed. And they have the backing of this country’s government. I never thought I’d see this day here in the US of A.

yes, please help us bring this administration down by boycotting the World Cup. Sports boycotts were important in bringing down apartheid, a tried and true method:

Behind this important reversal is a member of the Coast Guard who saw what was happening and had the courage to leak it to the press. That person deserves serious praise.
WTAF?
Was just thinking the same thing! ❤️
I trust biology over society any day. Hands down.
I believe in science 🤩 The brain is not fully mature until mid-20s and the last area to mature is the prefrontal cortex which contributes to decision making, emotion regulation..etc
Hmmmm, I think the developmental data pretty strongly suggest they are still adolescents.. compelling data and talk by BJ Casey..
Maybe you have the causal link backwards? Being dumb makes you… all kinds of isms? (not just semitic.. isms)
AI is like human brains with frontal lobe damage… confabulation?
And what do they think will happen with ‘terrorism’ at home when we’re the terrorists abroad? It’s not fucking brain science folks!
Wow!
🎙️ Last week, a group of Columbia professors — most of them Jewish — took a stand. Risking reprisal, they publicly rejected the university’s recent incorporation of a controversial definition of antisemitism. Their statements, excerpted here, can be read in full at cu-standsup.org/events/free-....

Having carefully considered the entirety of the record, this Court finds by clear and convincing evidence that the Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, together with the subordinate officials and agents of each of them, deliberately and with purposeful aforethought, did so concert their actions and those of their two departments intentionally to chill the rights to freedom of speech and peacefully to assemble of the non-citizen plaintiff members of the plaintiff associations. What remains after issuing this opinion is to consider what, if anything, may be done to remedy these constitutional violations.
Judge Young: "[T]his Court finds by clear and convincing evidence that [] Kristi Noem and [] Marco Rubio ... deliberately and with purposeful aforethought" took actions "intentionally to chill the rights to freedom of speech and peacefully to assemble of the non-citizen plaintiff[s]."
Belated congrats Brynn! Anyone would be lucky to work under your tutelage!
This is far from over, but it is good to see the Senate Committee’s appropriate response to the President’s budget proposal
Data from humans is incredibly rich as well - and language alters how we think and hence, how our brains have become wired…understanding the human brain and behavior is the ultimate goal..
And look at our Fig 3 - these three brain regions tracked event structure and the only way events were tagged was the passage of more vs less time in the narrative! Just one word!
Great to see your work and it absolutely adds to the already rich set of data from humans. I do bemoan, however, the methods bias that journals, scientists have.. we need to fix this! True progress comes from converging methods

Youssef Ezzyat published the first paper showing the sensitivity of the EC to event structure (Fig 3) Yes, in humans using fMRI but should get an honorary Science designation now that it’s been shown in rodents? 😂 (hint, it’s also there in lat.temp ctx and mPFC)
The wrong ICE is melting The wrong Amazon is burning
Sign of the day…
History will not be kind to these depraved sycophants. I can already imagine the bottom-right photo in the textbooks of years to come as emblematic of our current era of politics devoid of empathy or compassion.
Harvard’s response is hot!
