The world fucking is on fire.
So go be as corny and cringe as you wanna be without hurting people.
Live whats left of your only life.
If you canโt be free in your body at least go be free in your mind and soul.

This is the most reassuring statement Iโve seen re: D&D and AI, mostly bc Chris Cocks is exalting it the rest of the piece: โThere are some brands that the audience, the creators, just donโt want it, so we donโt even have it in our pipelines for our video games or for Magic: The Gathering, or D&D.โ
I find it extremely difficult to believe that anyone experiencing what honestly looks like the apocalypse is going to regard it as a form of liberation or that anyone responsible for it actually cares about how Iranians regard it at all.
Completely forgot to mention that I will be giving a whole ass workshop at GDC on Transformational Game Design and running my game Nightmare High, which was made especially to introduce teens into tabletop role-playing. โจ You'll see me mostly running around with @bananachangames.bsky.social.

One thought I often have is that the gig economy emerging alongside the rapid escalation of economic inequality is actually the slow reemergence of the servant class in public life.
ooooooh I'm stealing this one!
Hi #EarlyModern Bluesky - did you know that someone brilliant has built working printing presses using Lego and they are trying to get enough supporters so that Lego will release it as a kit?
They look so cool!

An 80s synthwave background with, neon purple, pink, and purple grid as far as the horizon and a blazing golden sunrise with hot pink stripes. Header reads 'Happy International Women's Day' TTRPGirls logo bottom left, a neon blue striped triangle behind the words ttrp in blocky blue and pink font, and girls in white cursive. EUphoria's logo bottom left, a round yellow frame with navy blue background, and a large shooting star made up of yellow d4s streaking from right to left, a yellow tail trailing behind.
Happy International Women's Day!
Today is an especially good day to celebrate the women and femmes in your life. Buy them a coffee, send them flowers, promote their projects, just drop them a note to tell them how much they mean to you.
Uplift women, fight the patriarchy, today and every day.
Happy Days Lights Saving Times, everybody!

I always enjoy Levi's perspectives and resources on game design, and this is no exception.
A mockup of the Blades '69 book where the 69 has been crossed out and replaced with 69 in bright purple. Below that, the bio for April Kit Walsh which reads: April Kit Walsh writes games about feelings, vulnerability, and caring for one another, including Thirsty Sword Lesbians and End of the Line. She used to be a swordfighting ballerina, but claims those days are behind her; she has absolutely no idea who that masked heroine with the sword and the tutu might be. When not writing RPGs, April is a civil liberties attorney working to protect the rights of criminal defendants, activists, journalists, and everyone else impacted by the technologies of control or empowerment. Next to the bio, the description for the $420k stretch goal: Blades '69: The Sexual Revolution The 1960s were a time when the counterculture challenged establishment norms around sex, love, family, and a person's right to choose what happens to their own body. How does this conflict manifest in Doskvol? How does the Consensus exercise control through these dimensions of human experience, and what struggles and delightful deviancies does your group want to explore? Blades '69 is a combination of a worldbuilding exercise and safety tool to help you bring themes of both real-world and fantastical sexual liberation to your game.
yeah yeah we saw all you sly posters going "Blades '68? ...just ONE off."
Well we're not COWARDS. Challenge accepted!
At $420k we'll commission April Kit Walsh (designer of Thirsty Sword Lesbians) to write up... Blades '69

there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for
