Great stuff, man
On a sugarcane farm at the edge between a small village and the wild Amazon jungle mountains. Little Darron Drake, adopted son of anti-social socialite and film producer Marla Drake, is shirtless and plays futbol/soccer with his uncle Tale Josue Santos, also known as Gold Tyger Jo. Jo is an indigenous Brazilian man with golden eyes and white hair in his mid-twenties, and he was raised by two sugarcane farmers named Oscar and Teresa Santos. Darron kicks the ball super hard and wins a goal as Jo ducks out of the ball's way.
Jo looks over his Uncle/Tio Jo and mocks his poor goalie skills. Jo then switches places with his mother Teresa Hamada Santos and drinks a glass of sugarcane juice while standing next to his father Oscar.
Jo and his father scar have a heart-to-heart conversation. Jo sneakily references Marla Drake's business trip to China, but the flashback actually shows her operating under her gothic devil persona Black Fury to fight the Chinese hero Ferrokhan, ruler of a secret kingdom within the country called The Iron Lands.
Jo worries about how Darron is being raised, wanting him to have some traditional upbringing from his country of origin while still wanting him to love his real home at Marla Drake's manor in North America. Despite his worries, his father Oscar tells him he is making the right choices as the good heart and spirit he is sharing with Darron is more than enough to make a good life for a young boy.
Playing futbol under a Brazilian summer sun is wonderful, especially when it has a heart-to-heart with your dad.
This Gold Tyger Jo story is inspired by @jamesgunn.bsky.social joyous Superman film and my own father, who gave me his name.
