On Feb 5, the Senate recognized May 10 as Bear Witness Day. We thank Senator Brian Francis for advancing this motion. It reinforces the call for Canada to fully implement Jordanβs Principle so First Nations children receive the services they need, when they need them.

Last week, the Senate of Canada - SΓ©nat du Canada unanimously adopted a motion recognizing May 10 of each year as #BearWitnessDay. I am beyond humbled to have introduced this motion and grateful for such strong support from my colleagues. @caringsociety.bsky.social
