This work I do under an old stereo microscope (Wild from Switzerland) with 10-40x magnification. For the tweezers I use the Nr. 5 from DUMONT, also Switzerland. For the tiny leaves just strip of some and choose the best.

Beautiful picture. The moss with the sporophytes is Ptychostomum capillare, the creeping one Hypnum cupressiforme. Unfortunately no Bonfire.

Very nice landscape with a lot of bryophytes. I think L. cupressina is quite common in that region. Perhaps it is overgrown here from one of the big pleurocarp moss. But it will come at another place again.

Lobaria amplissima is extremly rare in Germany. 2020 one of the old trees died and the bark with Lobaria fall on the ground. So I took it and fixed it with binding wire on another old tree near by (without the Lobaria). Yesterday I was there and pleasantly surprised, that it worked very good.
