Exhausted by this #BAFTA shitstorm. Really feel for Davidson who’s been taking most of the heat despite doing his best. I believe John did the best he could to avoid ticcing slur words, he failed to hold the ticcing or leave before the tics bursted out but he did apologized for it and assured that those were unintentonal. Knowing the risks he still was invited there, you're implying that he should have refused to go?

I don't believe John owns an apology toward all the people who heard the tics via TV because it definetly wasn't his fault that his tics was broadcasted. He did reach the people whose moment his ticcing disturbed and apologized. IMO you're barking at the wrong tree here, real crime came from BBC.

John did apologize directly to the mentioned persons, what else is expected from him? Audience was informed beforehand, he wasn't seated at the front row & he was told that the tics would be cut out. You're saying he shouldn't have participated to the gala that celebrated the film made of his life?
