Officers who defended the Capitol on Jan. 6 asked a judge to let their lawsuit over an honorary plaque proceed, arguing its current placement still violates federal law.
“Hidden from visitors, the plaque’s current location is no better than the basement where it sat for years,” the filing states.
The location of the plaque that was just hung, is in a place that it will not be visible to the public. While I am thankful for this first step, our lawsuit continues until they plaque is hung in accordance with the law.

The most haunting clip of Jan 6th videos for me, is Commander Glover's radio transmission: "10–33. I repeat, 10–33 West Front of the Capitol...We have been flanked, and we've lost the line."
10-33 is the ultimate distress code, and something I rarely heard in over 5 years. It still gives me chills

Four years ago today, we lost Officer William Evans in a vehicular attack at the Capitol. I’ll always remember this day and hearing the first radio call as we responded. Thinking of his family 💙

Epilogue: I asked how the determination is made which coins have the broadest appeal and who makes that decision. They ignored my inquiry for a name again and changed their tune, saying it was a response to legislation, telling me to take it up with Congress and leave them alone.
I pointed out the two different answers, asking which legislation forced them to remove it, or a name of who made the determination. They stopped responding.
