Birds and Wildlife in Cumbria 2024 is now out ! Free to CBC members and others can buy a copy from the CBC website or bookshops around the county. It's full of interesting material spanning taxa from birds to bryophytes.

During our first month using 'Going birding' as a sightings channel on the CBC website we now have 50 participants and around 250 records for the month. It's easy to use and helps you manage your records too. It works well for us recorders - give it a try !
Our 'Latest Sightings' on the website is due to be replaced by 'Going birding Cumbria?' goingbirding.co.uk/cumbria/birdnews.asp
It reports direct to CBC to create official records, it has sensitivity settings and needs no moderation, it's easy to use.
