Apparently not:

"Il sisma Γ¨ stato causato da movimenti tettonici nel mar Tirreno, che ha zone attive a quelle profonditΓ β spiega Francesca Bianco, dirigente di ricerca dellβOsservatorio vesuviano β e quindi non Γ¨ legato nΓ© al bradisismo nΓ© al Vesuvioβ.
jeez louise man
a real guy and a really accomplished chef: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ettore_...
the corruption is bad, the cruelty is bad, the lechery is bad, the lying is bad
but the stupid is fatal
our guy is a sprightly 17 years old, and has decided that if he doesnβt get a slice of deli meat in his bowl the instant he vocally requests it, he is fully within his rights to run at us and whack or (occasionally) nip our ankles
I love that little guy
that is a very high-quality baseball nickname
So I think human chess skill is still pretty awe-inspiringβ¦ but what it isnβt is uniquely human, not anymore.
In retrospect though, chess feels like a game thatβs so deterministic that itβs well -suited for machines, and itβs a marvel of sorts that humans have kept up as well as we have (and of course we can still be amazed at Usain Bolt even though he can be beaten in a race by, say, an electric scooter)
like, once machines became better at chess than humans, it became more problematic to view it as a proxy for intelligence. Will be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out with gen AI
itβs interesting that weβve kept on rewarding and valorizing human chess skill even after machines surpassed itβ¦ though it does seem like the public perception of chess champions may have moved a bit away from βreally smart personβ in the direction of βreally good-at-chess personβ
Bluesky pedantry in its purest form, respect
They beat themβbut they didnβt replace them, in the sense that we still have chess championships and human grandmasters.
Honestly Iβd guess that the benefits of these drugs will likely far outweigh the negatives described here for most people. But itβs still good to know about the potentially increased risk of osteoporosis, injury etc.
Thatβs fine! But knowing about potential negative consequences can help avoid, mitigate or prepare for them.
The coup attempt was predictable enough on his part, he never seemed like one to accept a loss. Getting all those lawyers and rioters and Supreme Court justicesβ spouses to go along for the ride was the shocking thing.

Little Tikes hoop vibes

technically you could describe a dumpster fire as red hot and firing
I think I missed some of that exchange to be honest! One odd and slightly alienating thing about this medium is these serial brief encounters with seemingly unhappy people.
I guess parachuting into the conversation to make a snarky comment wasnβt the most enlightened behavior on my partβ¦ ah well.
well, I donβt want to brag but I got an A in my intro (and only) CS class in college so if you ever need expertise on that side of things just drop me a line.
I guess once youβve used all your screenshots, and played the βyouβre showing your ignorance and embarassing yourselfβ card, thereβs nothing much more to do but declare victory and disappear.
Iβm frankly not qualified to have an opinion on the topic one way or the otherβ¦but when someoneβs like βI got an A in my one college class in your field, and Iβm here to say that your field is garbageβ all I can think of is Elon Musk announcing that chess is much less sophisticated than Polytopia
lol looks like he blocked me, guess Iβll have to get my insights into physics and consciousness elsewhere
Dude you are talking to a man who got an A in his undergrad Intro to Philosophy class, show some respect.
For all we know heβs a member of Mensa too!
he is based like that
Cartoon villaining very strongly
unfortunately thereβs no Fred Trump here to come and buy a bunch of chips to bail out the casino
What is the type in this scenarioβ a particular model?
Trump and co. reflexively say βeverything is on the tableβ about every topic because they think it makes them sound powerfulβ¦ but this would have been a time to stop and think about what that answer sounds like here.
