Trump never thinks things through. He'll have gone with "Let's bomb 'em & see what happens". Unlike his first term, there's no one around him to say "If you do that, this is likely to happen" or "We can't do that because it's illegal/stupid/will make things worse". No one. They're clapping seals.
I pointed out that Israel had made a speciality out of hitting targets & denying that they had. Did it in Gaza frequently. US have done it, too. Only point I've been making all along is that, in the absence of an admission of guilt by US or Israel, it's better to wait for proof. We now have that.
I have absolutely no idea what point you are making. I never said it was Iran, despite Leavitt and Trump making out that it was. I never said it wasn't the US, merely that waiting for proof (in the absence of an admission of guilt by either Israel or US) was better than supposition or assumptions.
