The Caring Connection (Parent and Infant Relationship Service)
YouTube video by ForMed Films
Sharing again this video from Blackpool's parent-infant relationships service (PAIRs)
It acknowledges that parenting can be hard and requires adjustment (I love the idea of finding a new version of yourself), the value of talking & of having someone notice strengths.

βHow was the birth of your babyβ¦?β Many #mothers struggle with the answer to that question. They feel grateful to have their #baby, but the memories of the birth often keep coming back. They might be angry, or sad, or guilty or ashamed that they did something wrong, didnβt try hard enough.

Quote graphic that says, "Babies remember. They just remember it differently. We remember in our brains, and they remember in their bodies." attributed to Meghan Schmelzer
For infants and young children, mental health and physical health are intertwined, just as they are for adults.
Infants and toddlers canβt always express their mental health struggles in words, but they communicate through physical symptoms and changes in behavior.
