I have also finally painted the wheels black on my Balfour & Beatty YOB so that it matches my Jarvis/Fastline model.

Looks much better without those intrusive looking silver wheels.

The National Festival of Railway Modelling at the NEC has concluded this weekend, got to see a nice amount of layouts and of course a great variety of trade stalls.

Overall, a very good event, quite enjoyed it 👍

Made some slight improvements to my Jarvis YOB by painting part of the wheel black with some acrylic paint, it's a small detail but somehow improves the look of it.

I will be doing this to the Balfour & Beatty version as soon as I have it.

Got this letter from Hornby of all people advertising their TT120 range which I did not consent for so I have no idea what they're trying to do here.
