Wankers, the lot of them . . .

Wankers, the lot of them . . .
Or is it?
This season has given me an appreciation for the loyalty of supporters of clubs like, Palace, Brighton, Wolves and West Ham go through week after week.
I donβt know how they stand it every season.
If I had expectations of anything higher, I likely would have done the same.
Sadly, Iβve kind of become numb to it. It happens so often this season.
Had Biden said it, he would have been skewered.
Trump did say it.
American media: π
Iβm wondering how I sat in my recliner and watched 90β official it.
#LFC are so damned bland.
I know there are injuries.
I know the depth problems.
I know slubs go through spells.
But dammit, Liverpool β½οΈ is about dynamics, being explosive, being entertaining.
2025/26 has been the complete antithesis of all that.
Hate way we play now.
We play like Crystal Palace now, so you canβt be blamed for thinking it was blue.
Please spare me that misery!
Itβs painful enough to sit through 90β official of Liverpool this season.
American Reds that watch USMNT and #LFC:
Am I wrong in thinking Liverpool Has become very USMNT-ish this season?
The boys find possession, even move into attack with space . . . but once there have no idea where to go with ball or to whom, this opportunities never become goals.
Heβs never been Chuck Norris either.
But that doesnβt stop him from thinking he is.
Jumped straight from NAIA four decades ago and have yet to figure out that it wasnβt a defendable move for them.
So whatβs a little drive and more financial burdening going to hurt? π€
Hate it for the players, staff and fans.
But power to the athletes!
USL offices already donβt care about franchise health. The league has loads of π° but doesnβt filter it down to clubs.
So not caring about athletesβ well-being doesnβt come as any surprise.
βBig clubβ with loads of support that donβt deserve this. Well known stateside.
Big doc/development opportunities with SFC states side and in England. (Not my club, but my heart bleeds for them.)
Kieran Maguire (Liverpool U., Price of Football) could give you all the info you need.

Asking you to please take a look at Sheffield Wednesday FC.
In admin, Β£47.8m bid by by crypto consortium collapsed. 3 years of malfeasance by Chanciery wrecking historic English club. Will be relegated to League One next year β if they survive. Stadium needs upgrades. 1/2
That thing he did in the last minute of the first half would have made me sit his butt down for the second half.

Saka is the only Gooner that I like.
For worst pass/clearance of the year, watch the final minute of the first half of FCD-Toronto.
Dallasβ Bernard Kamungo made the perfect one-touch pass to the striker to set up a dangerous goal scoring chance β just to the wrong team toward the wrong goal.
Itβs so fucking ridiculous!
USL doesnβt care, doesnβt need to care. Theyβll just find somebody to pay an expansion fee, keep all that money for the league, and carry on.
USLβs set-up creates a situation where the league cares only about finding expansion fees and not about exiting clubsβ health or stability.
Watched the first half of FC Dallas - Toronto MLS opener.
ππΌ FCD 2:1 HT
ππ» Defensive errors almost comical in scoring situations. And the most ridiculous one, in the final minute of the half, should have been a Toronto equalizer.
Hopefully the product improves a lot as the season moves on.
Staying Old School . . . Bologna
Well, at least MJ goes to victory lane as an owner.
You know NASCAR officials will hate seeing him there after he lived their ass into submission in court.
Sports team analogy was on point!
Iβm for Bubba anyway.
Because I know from race experience how mad it makes the vast bulk of NASCAR mad when he did well.
Taking the lead 3-2, grabbing the ball out of the net and punting it into the stands . . .

I know Kieran Maguire had to have been there.
So I was wondering if . . .
