The doc is broader than just horror stories, and Hannah Fry is an excellent presenter. But appreciate it may not be to your taste. I'd recommend if you were at all interested though.

Hannah Fry has an excellent documentary out right now on iPlayer (AI Confidential). Have only seen the first part so far, but that was about people with "AI companions". One of the stories was of a guy who was encouraged to murder QEII by his AI "girlfriend". Worth a watch.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

Same - I didn't rate There's Something About Mary. It was overhyped, and I didn't find the "hair gel" scene as funny as a lot of other people seemed to!

I've never seen The Mummy, but now I want to!

I can't remember the exact format, my recollection was that it was an "experiment" on the Today programme. It may have been additional to the normal TFTD to see how it played. Someone replied to me with the transcript. It's as cringe as I remember:
