Given the first two singles I bought were The Lion Sleeps Tonight and Mickey (ยฃ1.10 each from Bicester Woolworths), I'm guessing it was round about now I got them. #totp

I didn't catch who it was, but was just saying he looks like a 12yo dressed for a first job interview.

Interesting that he didn't use removal of Jane Austen as the basis for his rant, and it's not as if Winston Churchill has *always* been on a bank note.

Yes, me too. It's exhausting, isn't it.

Yet again I am inclined to ask "*Who* actually wants this?" (and anyone who does should be disqualified from caring for kids.)

I hear you!

The doc is broader than just horror stories, and Hannah Fry is an excellent presenter. But appreciate it may not be to your taste. I'd recommend if you were at all interested though.

Hannah Fry has an excellent documentary out right now on iPlayer (AI Confidential). Have only seen the first part so far, but that was about people with "AI companions". One of the stories was of a guy who was encouraged to murder QEII by his AI "girlfriend". Worth a watch.

This is a genuine concern of Brits 'directly' catch up in the Iranian conflict. They are concerned to come back just in case they go over their 90 days 'welcome' to then get taxed to max. Native Brits that have probably paid hundreds of thousands if not millions (like myself) into the British system and they're willing to jeopardise their own personal safety and that of the families to avoid their motherland to not get absolutely robbed and pillaged by the UK government. All whilst we hand out freebies at the expenses of the UK government (that many have paid into) to illegal criminals invading our borders. This is how anti-British the current @UKLabour is! They've got to go. Simple!

"People who left Britain to avoid tax are putting their families in danger in Dubai rather than taking them to a place of safety and risking paying tax. This is because Labour is anti-British."

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

Daily Mail Headline: Pupils' drawings could be blasphemous under Islamic law, Labour councils tell schools - while music and dance classes may go against the teachings of Islam

Oh boy! What a headline...

Ask yourself:

"What am I being asked to believe?"

"Who am I being told to blame?"

Take a few seconds to imagine what the Daily Mail (And Telegraph, GB News and Express) WANT you to think is going on.

Let's see what's ACTUALLY happening...๐Ÿงต

Same - I didn't rate There's Something About Mary. It was overhyped, and I didn't find the "hair gel" scene as funny as a lot of other people seemed to!

I just wish I didn't have a shared friend group with mine, or keep bumping into her outside the local school. We've been friends since our teens were babies.

She's been completely radicalised. At the moment her daily posts are all in support of the people of Iran. Nothing wrong with that per se, but funny how she'd never mentioned them before a few weeks ago.

I can't remember the exact format, my recollection was that it was an "experiment" on the Today programme. It may have been additional to the normal TFTD to see how it played. Someone replied to me with the transcript. It's as cringe as I remember:

I have a friend on FB who is a convert, and she's a full-on cheerleader for Tommy Robinson. It's unbelievable.
