She brushes the pad of her thumb across Kitty's bottom lip as a portal opened behind her. Gudrun walked back into it and was gone in the blink of an eye.
The Asgardian's face was a deep shade of red as she looked up at Kasandra. She knew Midgardians could be tall, but Kasandra Winter was the tallest she had the pleasure of meeting.
"I...um...that is...ahem. I seem to be at a loss for words, excluding the ones I am speaking right now."
"I have a feeling that anything you come to me with is nothing I would turn down. Why don't we make ourselves comfortable somewhere so we can get to know one another better?"
"Sounds like a splendid slumber party. Shall I bring snacks?" she asks with a quiet chuckle.
"Is that an invitation?"
She tilts Kitty's head one way then the other, as if looking for the answer written on her face.
She grinned as she gave her chin a gentle squeeze.
"Thank you. I've been told I'm very good at keeping others warm at night," she stated with a wink.
"There, now I can see more of your pretty face," she said just barely above a whisper.
Her hand did not break contact. Fingertips traced along Kitty's jawline until she held her chin by her thumb and index finger.
Gudrun stood a few inches taller than the mutant girl. Her touch was delicate as she brushed the hair out of Kitty's face and behind her ear. Her touch didn't stop there, fingertips traced down along the edge of her ear until her thumb brushed over the lobe.
"I have been to countless worlds and timelines and seen many a pretty face. I know when I see one."
She smiles and holds her hand up near Kitty's face, keeping it hovered near her brow at another loose strand of hair.
"May I?" she asks softly.
She giggles and takes a step closer towards her, tilting her head as she looked over her pretty face.
"Why thank you. Quite the compliment from a pretty girl like yourself."
