2025 was a slow year for me. I had rotator cuff surgery and a very long recovery. Then we decided to move to Michigan, so for the past couple of months we’ve been packing and preparing. Once we are settled into the new house (near Grand Rapids), I will definitely resume shooting!

Light projection with Emma. I use a macOS application I created called Projection Studio, which lets me do things like add layers of light patterns such as the round spotlight atop the newspaper image.

I left mine on flash WB for many years. These days I use Amaran constant lights more and explicitly match the WB to the lights, or I’ll set it to 5,000k when using my Epson projectors. Always RAW so it doesn’t really matter much.
I wish these images didn’t keep fitting current times.
