Descending upon them is the Librarian, a boss in Tunic. The Librarian is floating in the air above the two adventurers menacingly. In one had the Librarian holds a sword made up of energy, and in the other is a page of the Tunic Manual. The floor of the Great Library is floored with green and white tiles, and there are five red rugs neatly placed with golden details on them. On either side if the Librarian are staircases with statues of The Heir, and below those statues are Knights. Behind The Librarian there is a statue of The Hero, holding a lit candle. Beside The Librarian there are piles of books, messily scattered around. SPOILERS AND LORE OR SOMETHING: I’m fascinated with The Librarian as a character. The in-game text that appears when the player starts the boss fight with The Librarian is translates to: “The Thieving Scholar Who Seeks the Cross but Does Not Understand”. I think it’s implied that this impossible search is what leads to a slow descent into a kind of madness and obsession with ‘the golden cross’. I like to think The Librarian may have, at some point, stolen pages from unfortunate adventurers, or perhaps even lured adventurers in only to attack and hoard any information for himself. Even if, somehow, he could understand what the golden cross is, The Librarian’s tragic reality is that he will never have access to that which he so fervently seeks. "He will never visit The Far Shore”.

Here's my art summary! The text reads: HoopdogTheKing's 2025 Art Summary From left to right starting in the top row: 1. Two cartoon furries peek out of a bush, their tails high in the air, and a purple car sticks halfway out of the bush. 2. A dark brown pittie named Zeke on a heart background. 3. A brown/gray werewolf howling! It's Hoop! It me 4. Four "pbbts". They're tiny 2D, highly stylized furry characters with enormous eyes and tongues sticking out. Bottom Row: 1. A white woman with blonde hair sings into a microphone. She has a bisexual flag-themed flower in her hair. 2. A blue-skinned drown with asymetrical hair looks up to the right while resting their hean in their hand. 3. My OCs Ramsey and Palace talking with their faces reaaaal close like they're about to kiss 4. My dragonborn Odie staring into your soul while she licks between her fore and middle finger. All of this is set on a snowy forest background I doodled. Oh, and in the top left, laying across the first artwork, is a green anthro tiger dressed up in the Black Panther outfit from Marvel Rivals. I have like a hundred pieces to pick from, so it was fun to meander through my folders and struggle to pick what I wanted to include vs what fit in the tiny squares, ha ha.

Learned a lot in 2025, both about art and myself, and I'm looking forward to learning more in 2026 💖

2025 recap~ Looking forward to a great 2026!

Hope doing art for more years, even if we never know what tomorrow's made of

- @hoopdogtheking.bsky.social without him i wouldn't draw as much scenery/fullbody and poses, i've also learned a lot with him, and, like puffffy, he bring a neat creative space all around and always makes me want to try more things (even if i'm really bad to go out of my comfort zone)

- @puffffy.bsky.social : because of him i draw more people that matter to me instead of my own OCs (or at least draw them more) and made me discover a lot of really creative people (including himself), and i would probably not have done inktober nor all the wags in that way without him inspiring me

(even if i still do big mistakes like using pure black/white despite her telling me not to do so XD)

- @ravoilie.bsky.social if i didn't met her at the biggest point of my depression, i would probably not be doing art anymore today, and i learned a LOT from her in the way to do art, way more that what i could write here like (finally) accepting to use references for exemple

(it sound pretty silly now after 10 years of hard work but i had a more dumb vision of the world when that young, barely entering high school) and also kinda made me more open to creativity.

- @nyhgault.bsky.social : i don't recall the exact context but he's one of the first artist i've seen online and that made me realise that we're not "born" with art but it's something that we craft over time, and also that anybody can do it if willing to spend time on it

(GO FOLLOW THEM IF YOU DON'T ALREADY! i will never be able to praise them enough in those words and it will be wayyyyy understated compared to what they mean to me) (and sorry for the ping if you're in there)

even if i most of you are the reason keeping me doing it, i would probably not have been to this point without those 4 incredible kind, really inspiring and creative peoples
