the main thing it proves is technopathology needs an editor.

There are few greater betrayals than when a piece of media has a prologue with a fascinatingly weird viewpoint character navigating a fucked up situation, then you get into the story proper and it turns out all that was just the worldbuilding setup for a tedious bildungsroman about about Some Guy.

this might be a copout answer but corn, potato or tomato all do good. tomato u gotta squish and mix into the rice after tho. green veg mostly doesn't do super well thrown in at the beginning. I get a bag of frozen mixed veg and just mix em in right when the rice is done to warm them up.
