Everything is still terrible out there, but look! We grew our own oyster mushrooms! π±
Stunning!!!
Literally scrounging for hope in flower petals, seedlings π±, local activism, sourdough, and new cast-ons π§Ά. How are you coping right now?
Love this! Well done.
How awesome! π
Currently juggling my protest skills and my 101-uses-for-dry-bean skills and my gardening skills and my "maybe knitting will help me get through another day" skills. Am I exhausted and delirious? Yes. But is it kind of working? Maybe. π±π§Άπ₯¦
Well, I'm jelly, so I guess we're work besties. π€£
A palate cleanser for your timeline. π±
Very cute! I might try it.
You know ... I think you're right.
Gru with a large white pad that says "First we get a book". In the next panel it says "Then, we get another book". In the next panel it says "And then we say no more books". In the next panel it says "But then, we see another book". In the last panel Gru looks excited and it says "So we get two more books!"

That's it. I've had it. From now on, when I see a dried-up dandelion, I'm blowing those seeds everywhere. πΌ
Fire weed and sage in a field of fall grass just starting to turn. A very blue sky.

The garden is ready for the season! And so is my new fort... I mean, greenhouse. π± (Will I be sitting in my greenhouse/fort with my knitting and a cup of tea next time it rains? 110%) π§ΆβοΈ
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

When it comes to boycotting, just a thought. Itβs okay if you canβt quit a company cold turkey. In Master Gardeners, when we encourage people to switch to native plants, the goal is 70% native, not 100%. If you were shopping at a store 80% of the time and cut it back to 60%, that 20% still hurts.
Resist.
I feel this in my bone marrow.
