Qatari jet really looking like dumbest bribe of all time

Trying to copy people with political tiktok clout also doesnt explain all these other dems just quietly cosponsoring it

the tiktok brained stuff is at best just adjacent to stupid innumerate proposals

Feeling very vindicated about this and depressed about senate brain.

2024 broke them in the same way as Reagan broke the generation before them, just into different pathologies

what the fuck is this lmao, was this known before?

calling porter a tiktok fame politician makes sense, because her entire national profile was built off the whiteboard

But like even though booker wants that kind of clout, hes never had it, is bad at getting it, and it wasnt why voters elected him

so the only take away is "anyone can become dumb"

I actually kind of think this is true lmao, he doesn't want it for the sake of the tiktok fame but a misguided sense that it be good for getting political capital

Its just also useless for making predictions about candidates a decade out

And definitely doesnt explain CVH's proposals

Rain falling on the crops is supplemental, but for both data centers and agriculture rain falls all across the country, flows into rivers and aquifers and from those is collected to be used in all sorts of places

Do you think it just happens to rain in these nice circular patterns?

Do you think farms are?

data centers are not poisoning water supplies??

The way water is used is purely as a coolant running through copper pipes and the water gets hot before being discharged

Except plenty of data centers are not for AI?

But if youre genuinely experiencing residential water stress you should do what will provide the maximal relief, not just try to use it as a cudgel in an unrelated campaign

Theres plenty of terrible things being done with AI water use just isnt one

A real example of why the bluesky nuclear block and being able to remove quote tweets is bad

How cowardly a poster are you that you had to remove your post from my like 70 followers + 380 bots when I made a typo you could call me a dumb ass over!

While qting me again with a lame reply!

Towns experiencing water stress should limit water consumption by both agriculture and data centers if theyre having real stress

Yea cars are bad, co2 production is bad

Defending Americans driving everyone in subsidized 4 ton pollution machines to own the concept of data centers

45% of all corn goes to making ethanol to burn in car engines

13.03.2026 20:42 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 1

Every acre of farmland converted to a data center is an environmental win and data centers do a lot of things people want that aren’t AI

Sorry I can’t make people not want YouTube or Netflix or cloud storage or any number of other digital services

13.03.2026 20:39 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Water is extremely abundant relative to the scales of data centers in most places, and the water used in a data center is far more reusable than water used in a field

Plenty of problems with AI but water usage is not one of them

13.03.2026 20:26 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

45% of it will go to ethanol production, largely to be burned in car engines

The other 55% produces enough corn calories to feed 65 people for a year

If you use it to feed animals you’re down to about 6 people

Raising animals to eat is far more polluting both in co2 and other pollutants

A square mile of corn uses about 38 million gallons per day

I don’t like Cory booker much but idk how you can call him a 15 minutes of tiktok fame politician!

He genuinely did good as mayor of Newark and is far from the worst dem senator

CVH even more so, until last year he was an boring guy no one outside of his constituency knew about

13.03.2026 19:34 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

we gotta go nuclear on these tax cut ideas

even if they never happen this is just setting up for ratfucking!

every time dems want to do anything good for years theres going to be morons attacking dems for not doing this shit instead, linking them as proof dems dont really care

13.03.2026 18:52 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

It would be more defensible if MPU didnt sometimes also boost nonsense solutions which people then link to in opposition to democrats supporting real solutions

air to air refueling is such a bullshit concept

"we cant fly the plane long enough"

"get another plane to fly close and run a hose between them?"

is the dumbest idea imaginable and it works fine, and they first did in 1923

fuck off that shouldnt work

i think its true that it wasnt, some how it involved 2 kc-135s but the other one made it to ben guirion with damage that to my amateur eye looks like it hit another plane

13.03.2026 07:06 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 2

yes but its still going to be so frustrating to have to see some idiot linking his proposal anytime dems want to do something good that requires taxes

13.03.2026 03:40 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

so what happens if turkey tries to invoke article V
