Jacky turns her flashlight on a dark hall. Jeih is in it. His face is split into a starfish of saw-toothed jaws. Jeih: "I heard I rolled a twenty." Jacky is alarmed but appears to be flustered. There's a thought bubble by her head. It says Fight, Flight, Freeze- "Fuck."

Jeih pulls a book out of Jacky's bag. He looks at the cover and shows it to her. "Scary stories. Is this what you read while you're camping in tombs? Or is this a mood setter?" Jacky looks up from sewing. "I read it to faeries. Or whatever else I need to distract." Jeih, looking at the book again. "You never read it to me. I need to be distracted." Jacky goes back to sewing. "You're not a threat. You're not horny."

Jacky keeps a scary stories book in her bag.
There's a lot of bored monsters out there that might let her use their bridge if she reads them a story.

We joke that if Jacky finds a suspicious (enough) door she gets Jeih to open it for her. There's also some kind of psychic-but-not situation going on, so all she has to do to poke him to come around is say his name.
