I'm not even surprised. Years ago, there was a youtuber here in brazil that bought a lot of censored books. Our president had censored all LGBTQ+ books on a fair and the youtuber bought them all and distributed. There was a homophobic tweet, I called them homophobic, I got suspended for 'hate speech

In this case VAR allowed the penalty to go through. This round had 3 matches where both referees and VAR got suspended cause of unbelieveable given penalties. There was a case where a team tried to cancel a game against mine because of a referee mistake but ''it was too late'' (cont)

And no, it's not even ''it's a matter of interpretation'' literally everyone but the referee and VAR saw that it was no penalty. The referee commentarys post game were LAUGHING at how the referee thought was penalty... it's been a painful year for referees here.

And last saturday we were 1x1 on a direct confrontation and the referee gave a penalty that never existed and we lost at the end. The referee and VAR were suspended after saturday's match but like... ok? the damage is still done? we lost points and now are close once again to the zone.. (cont)
