Well not sure how it happened but it’s Friday again.
That’s either a good thing or a bad thing… I’m still deciding which!
I am delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Bongumenzi (Menzi) Nxumalo to the Hyam Institute's Advisory Council.
Menzi is a long-time friend from Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he is a Donaldson Bye Fellow.

I am doing a talk on the book on Saturday for Haslemere Natural History Society at 2.15 pm at Haslemere Museum. They allow non-members too but for a £5 donation. I will also be selling the book at a discounted rate.
Wow, I’d never heard of these. Thanks for sharing.
Yesterday I attended my first World Day of Prayer service.
I met some wonderful people from across Africa, including Zambia, Nigeria and Malawi.
Hearing about the suffering of women in Nigeria was both humbling and shocking.

Now and again we need to take a moment out of our busy day to stop and admire the beauty of nature. Yesterday the sight of a field full of daffodils made stop the car and walk amongst this beautiful sight.
Let’s all find the time to ‘stop’. There is joy all around us if we just look.

Another piece of the puzzle is in place.

We build ethical tech: mobile apps and web portals designed with user privacy at their core.

C. S. Lewis warned us about AI….
Congratulations. Feels good doesn’t it. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
When you visit our website, you'll see that we have deliberately avoided using the titles Founder and CEO.
We believe these titles imply one person is solely responsible for the business's creation.
It's time to change possession into a team, not an individual.

I saw this painted on a barrel yesterday. I guess we all read things differently but for me it said that we should strive against the status quo, not follow the herd and be as individual as indeed we are.
We are all human but are as individual as our finger prints.

I am so excited for Warren. He contributed several images to our Nguni Series and should be recognised as one of South Africa's most important authorities on its wildlife. I'm so pleased to see him write this book.

I saw this image several years ago.
To innovate, we need to question EVERYTHING!
And always ask why.
Why have we always done it like that?
Why can’t we do it like this?
Why …..
Don’t accept the historical way things have been done.
Looking forward to sitting down and watching the rugby this afternoon 🏉
Mixed loyalties means I don’t mind who wins, just looking forward to a good game. Hoping for more running and less kicking!
Real transparency requires that when companies claim we control our own privacy, that control is authentic, not just a talking point.
