Fun fact: the "-ai" search modifier generates completely different results from the AI version, complete with the normal info panel thing from a completely different source than when I ran the original search
Academic publishers sell to AI companies but tell authors not to share their own works independently - right in line with longerstanding practices. In a 2017 chapter, I explored publisher rhetoric about "protecting" authors, despite taking rights from authors.

ChatGPT does not have a duty of care, confidentiality, or basic understanding of how humans work and how to help someone. It has no empathy. It could give you actively harmful feedback that makes things so much worse. This is horrifically bad advice. DO NOT.
