One of those nights where I felt compelled to make the most of a clear sky and look upwards. Nothing quite makes you feel as small (due to scale) but also huge (due to being able to make some sense of it). Do it next time you can.

I donβt mind him usually, but tonight I have just the one tip for him (and itβs not Selbyβs): talk a bit less.
Then again, it is a bit of a saga this session!
Completely agree - same for Mark Allen, right?
Crikeyβ¦ I really should use this place more often! Thanks to all of you lovely new followers. Hereβs my most recent solo piece of music which I hope you enjoy! Stream or buy here:

5.30 rise today to play beat the traffic on my weekly trip in to the office. This tike yesterday was just returning to bed after our son had woken us up at 4.30 and needing bribing back to sleep with milk, a snack and me singing for 40 mins. Thankfully heβs still snoozing so tip toes for me!
Rock is your rock. Marvellous!
My partner and I alleviate this by singing βBin night, bin night (dadda der deh der deh) to the theme of Stingray. Odd, unique but effective!
Yes, just a myth though
Iβm fascinated by dreams and woke up today having had a weird experience where I was struggling to write with a pen in an exercise book. Just checked and apparently this is because the subconscious mind doesnβt quite get the language part of the βsoftwareβ in use when Iβm awake. Fascinating!
Took my son out for a drive (he was overdue his nap but usually nods off in the car quickly). Ended up about an hour from home at a regular spot near Chapek en le Frith and charged the car there. Suddenly ended up in blizzard conditions so did the most treacherous drive yet to get home. Funβ¦
Completely agree - it definitely needs less processing power and exports far quicker too! Hope you get it over the finish line soon!
Heya Anna, thought Iβd reply with something from a project with a 2 friends - a wonderful Berlin based singer and great Bristol based guitarist. Hope you enjoy!

As much as I love it, Iβm convinced I become a dog in the process because what feels like an hour on Premiere Pro turns out to be 7!
A photo of a back garden with a covering of snow. Itβs taken from inside. In the foreground is conservatory windows and a chess board
Solo parenting until Weds while my partner is over in Barcelona for work. Managed to get our son from nursery just as the snow started and canβt wait for him to see the now blanketed garden in the morning! Our new home is on high ground near the Peak District so expecting a lot of this in winter!
Had a helpful epiphany about how to prioritise things. Dividing them into tasks (dull, necessary), activities (engaging, productive) and projects (ongoing longer term, closest to my heart and soul) seems to make sense. Throw in consideration for time sensitivity and availability of others - sorted!
Sounds really lovely! Iβm now finally decorating the room Iβm using as my home studio, before some overdue upgrades on a few fronts. Hopefully wonβt take too long! X
A 14 month old baby playing with a wooden train set
The stuff Saturday mornings are made for! Admittedly it all went a bit Tay Bridge Disaster (good name for a band, too) at points but Iβll take that!
This is the first thing Iβve seen of yours for ages, despite following over at that other place! Hope all is going well!
Slowly it seems to be happening, which is encouraging. So saying hello as a fellow composer!
Yeah, though my deep cut main criticism of Salvation is that the A10 Warthog that gets half a wing blown off wouldβve still been able to fly as theyβre designed to be able to. But yes very watchable after a lacklustre T3. Less so the footage of Bale kicking off on set - eek!
It looked poor at the time it was released- as bad as the writing and delivery. The opening was pretty cool then itβs all downhill from there plot wise and visually
Itβd be 4 if this chap had an opposable thumb and smartphone!
You adjust, gradually, but that first few weeks is intense! 14 months in here and he sleeps through some nights, briefly wakes at 4am most others. Hope all going smoothly!
Ah, so there are people here that Iβd like to share tidbits of my life with and Iβm starting to think about leaving that other place because the minted weirdo is still running it.
Musicians, sci fi geeks and accessibility champions please do make yourself known!
Any good?
