St Clair scents, Jasmin Sarai and Tanais
The civet is not front and center. It’s there in the background. It’s a very clear, airy osmanthus to my nose.
Souls on fire from Neshama and Journey woman from Amouage.
Great writing and interesting note. I have tried neferetum and loved it. Have you tried Sacred Scarab from zoologist? That one has a blue lotus note as part of the kyphi incense. My nose is not experienced enough to know if it’s an accord or the real deal. Sultan Pasha does use very good materials.
Beautifully written! I have adhd and I use my scents to ground myself through out my day.
Thank you! Will give this a smell. I like Clue’s warm bulb.
Thank you! Unfortunately we don’t get it where I am.
Perfume peeps any recs for fresh cut grass scents? Husband rarely asks for things and this was his request. Any help appreciated. #perfumesky#fragrancesky
Thank you for this post! Reminded me to revisit all my Eris samples. All bangers!
Stele in New York carries them.
Thank you! You are so right about Duchaufour. His new line-L'Entropiste is pretty interesting. Smelt 3 of them.
High praise coming from you! Thank you! It's one of my fav NVCs.
It really is one of the best!

Imagine an Indian home that just completed a religious ritual, all the guests have left, you took a hit of ganja and you are walking through the halls laden with all the smells of cardamom infused sweets, of jasmine garlands hanging on doorways, lingering smoke of resins esp, Mysore sandalwood.
#sotd Tom Ford violet blonde and Irisoir. Double indulging-a spray near my neck and swipes of an attar on my arms. Attars are not my fav but will always make an exception for Sultan Pasha who I think will be one of the greats. His discovery set is a great study for any frag enthusiast.
Great read! Loved the vintage Dior round up too.
I enjoyed crazy garden and the rose.
😂 Enjoy the sniffing and your vacation. Can’t wait to see what vacation Danielle brings back.
They are so lovely. Their scented creams are very good too.
What a perfume this is! I have been trying Ostara recently. Of course a much more tamed and sunnier version of narcissus. Sad they discontinued it.
I agree! I am sure they will have teething issues. But the more people move over there and more traffic generates the better they can make it. Also they do take feedback.
So amazing that #fragplace added the feature to import your fragrantica profiles and also gave us a pretty smooth app for the fragcomm!🎊🎊
Agree! The community is a huge part of what I enjoy about fragrance. The perfumeroom pod has created many spaces for us to meet which I am grateful for. Love meeting perfumers and hearing about their creative process.
Not a bad one in the bunch. The fragments collection is a pass for me but the main line is chefs kiss.
Even if I am not thrilled that it’s a tuberose I am excited to smell it. The only perfumes that to me captured the smells of India in a convincing way.
I’ll add on with some of my favorite US indie house loves

Hard agree to both. Maybe include a few good perfumers 😬.
This is my new smell too! I have never smelled pandan and loved it in a pandan coconut cupcake in NYC!
Ohhh fun! Can’t wait to hear about it!
