The current lineup is the best in decades
The current lineup is the best in decades
The tapes came from the fans in the first place - so not so much of a surprise if you had the TT discs
Just lazy most of the time, don't get me started on mislabelling almost every photo they've posted ;)
and typos have continued on almost every TD cover since ;)
The original title is Geburt - it was mistranslated on the cover as Genesis, the cover also spells Klaus Schulze's name incorrectly and one or two of their birthdays are also wrong.
The correct translation is 'Birth'
Jerome ruined TD, and yet (and to be fair) most of his tracks are the only thing worth listening to from the '90s
White Eagle is fantastic, the title track and especially Mojave Plan. I love most of their ouput, bar 1990-2010 -which is just OK, however the current lineup are brilliant, especially Raum and the previous studio album Quantum Gate with Ulrich Schnauss
Itβs dreadful - just my opinion of course
Every day
Start with something like Tangram or Exit and then use the website 'voices in the net' to work forwards and backwards through their backcatalogue (none of this is on bandcamp - so try YT)
Great interview with Thorsten Quaeschning from Tangerine Dream www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSQI...
Peter Baumann's Romance 76 - first released in 1977: bigtakeover.com/recordings/p...
Tangerine Dream's new unnamed studio album - release date tentatively put at September/October 2026
Tangerine Dream have never played at the ArcTangent
Worst track and not used in the movie - great soundtrack though
plus music from Craig Safan
TANGERINE DREAM - 50 Years of Phaedra - at the Barbican UK album chart appearances
and GTAV
and the ending is a cover version of the Snowman
RIP Frederick Wiseman
I felt it really worked in the room
TD only had one original member left in December 1968
Btw Iβm talking about Invisible Limits here not 3am
Best thing was it was totally unplanned - Thorsten changed the tracks mid set but wasnβt ready so he asked Paul to play anything. But Paul wasnβt sure that Hoshiko could remember the melody from Norway. Edgar told me that Hoshiko could instantly memorise Melodieβs - seems he was right all along
Tangerine Dream change the running order mid-set at Nalen in Stockholm and play Invisible Limits from STRATOSFEAR youtu.be/2gdpCMC5p7A?...
Well it wasnβt even Phaedraβs 50th when they did it
