A four-panel GPose comic. There was one person who wrote an excellent character (Miyazaki), and later an entire team found themselves with the script in hand, wondering how to undermine that character.

There must be an entire universe of fanfics that corrects this (And in all these universes, André feels guilty for having acted as an aggressor to gain Oscar's favor)

I must admit that my last viewing of Nadia left me a little disappointed. I didn't remember such a pronounced male gaze. Her pacifism is portrayed as embarrassing naivety and her vegan choice is considered a whim.

That's why Oscar's character is so interesting. Her hopes for the people's freedom go beyond her friendship and devotion to the queen, and yet the bar was set so high. And even that might not be the most fascinating aspect of her personality.
