When done on my reasonably-well-calibrated desktop monitor instead of my phone, I got a notably better result. Interesting.

Thought this was interesting, and apparently I can see colours pretty well. Would be intrigued to see something similar for music/audio. www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd...
You did better than me, though I tried it on my phone, which might make a difference.
If I can be bothered, I'll try it out on my desktop later.
God, that's a fuckin mood.
For me, I fear that things have been too broken for too long for it to go back to "normal", whatever normal even looks like at this point.

It's also counterfactual: there are any number of mental health conditions (including but not limited to sociopathy, narcissistic personality disorder, & BPD) where habitual lying is a characteristic symptom
Still, it'd be nice if I got cool werewolf powers or something to compensate for bad brain
So the new Aeldari Vyper went up for preorder today, and I just found a forum thread from *a decade ago* that listed it as one of the oldest models that was still current - it came out in 1997. The Warp Spiders were older 90s but got replaced early 2025.
It's now only the Falcon chassis that's old.
It's going to take a critical mass of Things I Want To Play, and probably a price drop, before I get a Switch 2
Hell, it took me a good few years after launch to get the first one
The thing that gets me is that "sauce" is already written correctly on the lid they put the label on, and yet somehow they still fumbled it
Actually kind of impressive in its own way
Being functionally illiterate, as a bit
Look up the French translation for "a seal pushed me" and listen to the audio :3
And as usual, the games industry at large will learn absolutely nothing from this. Fully expecting several more live service games (looking at you, Marathon and FairGame$) to show up then die within weeks before anyone takes a hint
Meanwhile, RE9, a single player game, sells fifty billion copies
Lycanthropic nocturnal excursions
Something that it takes a bit of maturity to realise is that whether or not you like something, and whether or not it's objectively good by any given metric, are two largely independent axes.
Reminded of this because (most of) the recent Resident Evil games are GOOD, but I don't really LIKE them.
Hey, thanks for that. I'm pretty sure getting an emulator for those systems is trivial nowadays, so I think I might try some of those programs, if only to remember the Before Times a little bit.
I am sadly (probably) not technically proficient enough to translate them to something more modern.
They're all used to doing everything with phones and tablets. Put them in front of a command line or a terminal and they'd either be completely dumbfounded or destroy the entire system in five minutes flat.
Hell, some don't even understand things like folders.
I never beat the DLC for 3, and once in a while that bugs me. Also only finished 1 once, because it's honestly my least favourite, and that was I think the PS3 version, not Remastered.
At the moment I'm trying to finally get through Elden Ring. Only took me four years to make a second attempt.
I kinda miss the 80s and 90s where computers were a lot more esoteric and only the nerdy kids knew anything about them, unlike nowadays where everyone has a computer in their pocket that's 58 quintillion times more powerful than anything we had back then
Core memory unlocked.
It's hazy, but I think they had this in the school library and I tried it out with the computers there (probably BBC Model B) because it wasn't compatible with the Atari ST we had at home.
First one is really good if you can look past the janky presentation, has a lot of depth.
Second one looks like it's going to be similar but much better in the audiovisual department, I just don't want to bother with Early Access so will wait for the full release, probably on console.
Maybe it's just not fitting my taste then. Never could be arsed to finish 7, Village was decent enough, and the remakes have been hit and miss for me. I may not be the target audience though, so who knows.
Everyone (for large values of everyone) I know is playing it, but after the last few instalments being decent but not amazing imo, I really don't want to spunk Β£65 on it
I'm sure I'll play it eventually, but was in no rush to get it day one
I don't hate the Demon's Souls remake as much as some people seem to, but there were definitely questionable decisions made. Still, it's MOSTLY the same game, and I think people get too mad over fairly minor things.
However, if they fucked up Bloodborne, heads would roll.
About what I expect from R*ddit
I'd only heard of her because of the Junto, and even then only quite recently, but apparently she was still making music even in old age. Honestly what I'd like to do; I probably won't ever make the totality of what I want to, but I can at least do some portion of it.
I mean, I've been scammed by a number of actual real artists as well, so unfortunately it's no guarantee :/
And not even exclusively furry artists, I've had people take my money and deliver nothing on DeviantArt and stuff as well
The robots can't stop me from being a weird animal
I'll slip you the knot, son
It me
He's also HUGE. In game, your character's head reaches almost exactly crotch height.
