For a minute I was very confused, as I didn't think that support for the Irish Republican Army split neatly along partisan lines....
I don’t think we should categorize examples where these systems are used by individuals for stalking or harassment as “misuse” of the technology. This is very much literally why the tech exists, and there are no meaningful ways these uses are prohibited.

This is absolutely true, but it's something that only a small proportion of LLM users understand. It also gets you yelled at by GenAI boosters when you say it out loud (or smugly lectured-to about 'frontier' models you *should* be using instead that supposedly Confabulate less).
