So, I've only gotten as far as act 3, but here's what I've learned.
Every boss fight is a puzzle to be solved.
There is a LOT of rules nuance to abilities. You can always respec and try again, however once you get most of the way through act 2 you'll be powerhouses.
Be stingy with Navigator points.

So many good Wind Rose options for a soundtrack.
