Pretty cool, we updated a #Blazor project from .NET6 to .NET10, switched from Blazor Server to SSR, and updated the project to follow the new template structure in less than 10min :)

Great writeup and video by @engstromjimmy.bsky.social about how we're improving Razor editing and Hot Reload in Visual Studio 2026:
If youβve ever been frustrated by Razor intellisense, slow feedback, or Hot Reload behavingβ¦ oddly, this explains what was going on under the hood.

π¨ New podcast alert!
Ever felt lost in a sea of acronyms (hello, MCP)?
We sat down with @iamtimcorey.bsky.social to talk about imposter syndrome, teaching devs, and learning out loud β mistakes and all.

Thanks for thinking of me :)
I think the right answer has been posted now :)
From my experience 2026 is very stable so you might wanna give it a go :) I use it as my dev environment.
π The first public preview of Visual Studio 2026 is here!
We sat down with @madskristensen.net to talk monthly updates, Copilot magic (Profiler Agent β¨), performance boosts, modern UI, and why bug reports are actually gifts.

I did get a smoking/suit thingy.
Pretty sure they will let you in wearing anything though :D
I have accumulated some weight, so none of my suits were usable :/
He does :D

I need soundproofing. What do you use?
We have a large room 20mΒ² (215ftΒ²), it is very echoey.
We have upgraded from a headset to a Shure SM7B; the SM7B picks up a lot more of the room.
Please share your setup and learnings from soundproofing β€οΈ
Are Blazor developers real? π
Spoiler: YES β and finding them might be easier than you think.
I share lessons from .NETβs early days, Angular/React habits, and why C# & ASP.NET are the keys to Blazor.

A bookmark with a uni-kitty on top and and a witches hat below. Both are freehand drawn and coloured with Posca pens.
A bookmark with a DC logo in blue Posca and a freedrawn cutie racoon in alcohol markers
Reverse of the DV bookmark: the Marvel logo in posca
I've been wanting to share these for an age because I'm so proud of them. But there were surprise gifts for @engstromjess.bsky.social and @engstromjimmy.bsky.social so I couldn't π Logos are super hard, but I'm so happy with how far my drawing skills have come in 3 years!
-Will Blazor meet the same fate as Silverlight?
This is still to this day one of the most common questions I get.
In this new video, I break down why Silverlight failed and why (spoilers) that fate does not apply to Blazor.
That is mostly what I do to, i
but I also use it for learning new things.
Don't spend 1 hour writing code when you can spend 10 hours failing to vibe code it.
I honestly enjoy vibe coding, at least to a degree. It gives me a moment of rubber ducking at the same time as the problem (hopefully) gets solved.
What do you think?
Do you vibe code?

Current status:
I made a Blazor Web App run on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W⦠and used it to control an LED with Meadow!
.NET 9 + Blazor + GPIO on a Pi β it's oddly satisfying. π

In our latest episode of Coding After Work podcast @bethmassi.net talked about how nice it was that AI didnβt judge, we can ask stupid questions. But that was definitely judgment :p
When Scott Hanselman presents, you know you're going to have a good time.
I didn't expect tears. My parents didn't sell their van, but they did buy me my first computer. Without their belief in me, I wouldn't be where I am today.
