And a good photo too!
Great news, look forward to the sketches of it! And glad it’s still around, there was an avid Kent lister on one of our tours over Christmas who finally got a chance to try yesterday
Prat is a mega garden tick!
It’s the same in Asia, most would rather post a pic online and ask for an ID than try and work it out
How about scops owls?
Those lodgings are luxury compared to when I was there!
Lapland Longspur, 2nd and 3rd Philippine records on the same day
Pectoral Sandpiper, 2nd Phils record, must be overlooked!
Willow Warbler, 3rd Phils record, the first found by Jon Hornbuckle and co. back in the day. We found the 4th record later in the week too.
The other four new ones for me; Pec Sand, Willow Warbler, Lapland Longspur and Verditer Flycatcher. No photos of the Verditer as it was found shortly before my flight out so twitching time was limited!
Rook, first record for the Philippines
Red-backed Shrike, first record for the Philippines
Six new Philippine birds for me this autumn, first two being Rook and Red-backed Shrike, both new species for the Philippine list
Very nice, remember it well!
