Spent a strange and unusual afternoon with the Deetz family and the ghost with the most.
The most fun I’ve had all week is buying books when I’ve got SHELVES of unread ones. Sometimes you just want to feel something, ya know?
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple was…wow. I was locked in the whole time. The performances were phenomenal. While smaller in scale than the previous film, it still managed to make its mark on the series and I CAN NOT WAIT until the next one.
I don’t recognize this country anymore.
It’s like we didn’t all have to study World War II. I’ve never seen true evil at this scale before. I’m not naive; I know it’s always been there but now it’s running things and I dont know who the helpers are.
I just walked through a parking lot and got into the passenger side of my car. Took me a few seconds to realize that’s not where I sit.
That’s the kind of year it’s been.

Just got home from Bring Her Back…
I think if you liked Talk To Me you’ll like this too. The story is tighter and I cared about the characters a little more. It worked as an observation of grief more than a mystery and I’m not totally sure I expected that.

Final Destination Bloodlines was everything I want in a Final Destination movie; mousetrap-style ridiculous deaths mixed with some dark humor. There’s also a very touching scene with Tony Todd (whom the move was dedicated to).
If you liked the others, you won’t be disappointed with this one.

I’m surprised how well they all hold up. The fourth one was REALLY pushing that 3D though and was a tad forgettable. I liked the new rules that got added along the way. Also, my fault for waiting, but I wish the ending of 5 didn’t get spoiled.
