My time with RE9 comes to a close, for now. What a game. My favorite in the series now. Grace’s survival horror sections are sublime. Leon’s action horror sections are appropriately counterbalanced by great difficulty. Initially was a 10/10 for me. But after multiple playthroughs: 12/10 final score

Yeah. Felt the same about the first hour of crimson butterfly. Only played a little over an hour but very cool. The atmosphere is so creepy, and it has a compelling start to the story. Curious to get into it more over the weekend
I picked up the crimson butterfly remake on ps5. Started it last night. It’s my first time playing any game in this series. Excited to jump into it!
I have to admit I’ve been super skeptical of this game on console. This DF review has completely turned me around - now I’m thinking of getting it

These guys are so hung up on the lore and they conflate that with good storytelling. Mando s2 finale all over again. Cool moment but baby yoda was back with Mando a few eps into Book of Boba. There was no actual plan for that storyline - just vibes based on having that character make an appearance
