I just want to point out that Alex Pretti became a registered nurse in early 2021 -- the height of death from Covid. And he chose the ICU, the sickest patients, in Veterans Affairs.

Does anyone have experience with benchtop systems that manufacture LNPs for mRNA vaccines?

Can you hit repost? Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't want you to know the name of her opponent but will try every desperate attempt to save her seat.

I particularly love the beautiful pathology, produced by Dr. Kerry Goldin, and the contrast in cytokines and chemokines, work that was led by Dr. Sarah van Tol.

We investigated disease progression in B6 mice inoculated with bovine H5N1 or VN1203 via aerosols. Interestingly, although virus replication in the lung was similar, we observed drastic differences in neuroinvasion and pathology.

Maybe people are using more complex stats, or alternatives like the Mann Whitney?
As usual, Edward does an excellent job summarizing complex and persistent inaccuracies.
Project focuses on intranasal vs. intramuscular vaccination, utilizing flow cytometry, multiplex imaging, & possibly single-cell RNA-seq. Start date: late summer 2025.

In reality, the risks of side effects from a measles-mumps-rubella vaccination are vanishingly small, especially compared to the devastating effects of measles. 2 dosages provide 99% protection to disease.
Hearing from a source:
"A friend at NCI lost 3 outstanding staff (their words) and tweeted about it. She was suspended for 2 days. No idea how her tweet was flagged."
This is for all the people asking us why it's hard to tell what's happening at NIH. Retaliation is real.
The good thing about Science is that itβs true, whether or not you believe in it.

The Trump NIH is banning hires of new students and postdocs. This is devastating for NIH research and will result in a lost generation of researchers at the institution.
Heard from a applicant today: "A lot of people are banking their entire careers on the [NIH student programs]..."

Trump tried to lower NIH indirect rates in his 2017 budget and that failed to pass. This is a reminder that everything he tried to do through legal means in the first term will be attempted again through illegal means. He will only succeed if we let him.
A long post about whatβs happening to the science funding agencies in the US and why. As mentioned, this one just kept getting longer even as I kept stripping curse words from it.
