In my first try, I asked for water, then clicked around including on the creepy guy (both looking/talking at him). I loaded again, asked for booze, and this time it triggered the interaction. Or maybe the secret was that I was supposed to walk by him? Hmm!

I went back to my previous save point and made a different choice at the beginning of the scene. I guess there was an interaction I failed to trigger while I was clicking around.

Cancer is so partly so vicious bc treatment, when possible, requires destruction of the human body, thru chemo, radiation, surgery. Research at NIH was revealing a different path: harnassing the power of the human body--as found in its immune system--against the cancer. That research is gone, now.
