League Cup or bust
League Cup or bust
The only question is at what minute of the game is Khusanov going to absolutely level Vinicius?
Our B team is pretty good!

Yeah I don't even care about the football, I would satisfy for him to be OK as a starting point
The Foden bit hit me. Genuinely sad
He's spot on
Disgusting from Cherki. What a pass
Clearly the club's words just accepted at face value because the journo wants to preserve their relationship with the club and keep that line of communication open. But without interrogation of WHAT the club tells you, imo it's not journalism 2/2
These media pods are 𧨠I'm glad you mentioned the coverage of Frank's sacking. I find the Athletic's long reads after managers have been sacked pretty distasteful. Textbook example, go back and read the Chelsea journalist's insanely pro-club view on Maresca leaving. 1/2
Maverick manager.... Iraola at Bournemouth? π€·π»ββοΈ
Any team outside probably the... top 8 or 10 teams in the world (?) would surely have him. I'm leaning towards 8. He would still be an utter phenomenon in a slower league like Serie A
If we win the league, this image will be up there with the KDB tying laces image
The future is now - money time. Cβmon you Blues #mcfc #allornothing
This is leadership
This was a great listen, articulate points made, particularly on the events of Benfica-Madrid ππ»
This is majestic π
Do these generally result in just a fine? I assume we are not looking at a match ban?

Quite confident. Big performance tonight and the big players can take the weekend off
Bang on
Nothing wrong with growing out your hair.
Oh 100%, the evidence shows that the rolling contracts have never been an issue and have even coincided with success! But I wasn't contesting that. My point was I think Pep might be going based on him not refuting it when given the chance. Just a (negative) reading on mood music. Hope I'm wrong!
I did comment half way through yeah, but I've finished the pod since. You mean the detail re keeping players motivated? Yeah, you may be right, but an opposing view might be that a lack of clarity unsettles players. Neither view is evidenced based really, think you're just more of an optimist π«£
Agree the media is obsessed with Pep going, though I'd argue the main reason rumours persist is Pep hasn't quashed them. Some City fans think he has but he hasn't, not categorically. He just says "I have a contract". When pressed he doesn't definitively say one way or the other. I'm worried
Rescind Szoboslai's red? Behave! π Maybe if the PL wants to retroactively give us the goal (thus putting Brentford above Liverpool in the table), then yes. Outside that it's just a guy stopping a guy from scoring an open goal. Always a red
I literally fist pumped when you named the MOTM. Bernardo is entering the legends echelon if he wasn't there already. He really is Mr Manchester City at this point. Zaba vibes but he's reached greater heights
I love that after a decade of English football Pep has now arrived at "our strikers need to hold up the long balls better" π
Pep Guardiola: "Guided by our incredible player, one of the best I've ever trained - in this case our captain, Bernardo [Silva]. We follow him, I follow him because when a player puts a team always in front of himself, does things through his own example, everybody follows him - me the first!" π΅πΉπ
