I'm fine with the current set up. But if I had to choose, I'd pick DST. Mornings always suck, light or not.

But, living in the middle of a time zone and at almost 39° N, it alp works well for me.

As you note it's only most useful for within the temperate latitudes (and not the whole range either).

I want them to change their name. Eastern Air Express (BBQ) and Eastern Airlines (EAL) are too easily mixed up.

Also, Express shouldn't have the cool BBQ code.

When I was a child, visiting Florida from Boston, I ordered a frappe at a HoJo's. They didn't understand "frappe" and tried to pawn me off with a "milkshake". I knew what a "milkshake" was! I didn't want that! I explained what a frappe was and they kept on saying that I wanted a milkshake. 😃
