Marty makes you smarty
Loopy makes you stupi
Is that… an FM Towns Marty???
It’s a kinda bad fanservice show from back in the day. Watched like one episode on TV and you’re not missing much
Oh by now it’s a very recognizable style for sure. I feel like I‘m looking at Guilty Gear, dot Hack and like DearS or something
Man this really makes me wanna dust off my old manga from like 2005
Erementa certainly was a choice. I‘ll pretend that’s the name of a magic spell or something
I wondered if I should include the custom demon in there, but there wasn’t any screen real estate left
Final cutscene before the final boss confrontation implemented!
Suprisingly wholesome thread on r/Fighters where I'm doing an AMA about working in casual fighting games for the past 10-ish years.

Oh that’s a solid pick
At some point I really need to invest in a deck, even just for gamedev purposes
Oh true, Yujiro is in that one and busted af, conforming to lore
Also I learned about Garouden from an ancient German mag in the same way. I didn’t know anything about fighting games back then, so when I learned about Garou MOTW, I thought they were related because of the name
After 5 minutes of research there seems to be a Ky Kiske-like whose girlfriend transforms into two giant demon blades for him to wield
I haven’t heard of Elemental Gelade before, but I looked at it and now I wanna learn more. Garouden is a great pick too
What are some fun/funny obscure fighting games to put on during the next fight night? (console only). Currently on the menu:
Melty Blood Act Cadenza
AVG2
Dino Rex
Rozen Maiden Gebetgarten
Sakura Wars Columns
True, think of the crazy money they would have made with a PS2 port in 2008. Literal dozens of copies sold
Hey, pssst...
Guess who gave a talk about making fighting games at @godot-karlsruhe.de? It's now live on YouTube, folks!
youtu.be/BoloHak9aqg?...
I've decided to host a fighting game jam next month and already on-boarded a jury for it 😄 itch.io/jam/fighting...
The theme will be disclosed at the beginning of April 😄 If anyone wants to take part in it, I'll be happy to see whay you can cook!
(Banner still WIP)
Was prototyping something and quickly had to sketch up a bunch of characters
I sure did…
Your characters look so wonderfully comfy, I wanna hug all of them
Would you believe me if I told you the inspiration came from Sonic and the Secret Rings
A peek at the final dungeon, Realm Road

Nah, if you buy a US copy you get Angela instead, who is just a model swap. Technically she‘s in the PAL version too, but the game crashes when trying to load her model due to rushed development
Sakura was popular at the time and fits the setting, but Sega of America takes offense to that, so she gets removed in the international release
First of all, thanks for playing the demo to the end! Demon Cell Body will be in the final dungeon, correct. If you are missing the badge in the bottom right, that one is included in the demo, but very well hidden. If you find it, you might even meet a familiar face from the first game.
There is a Granblue tactics game
