I moved back to Northern California a few years ago after growing up here, and the difference is stark, particularly in the mountains. Rain and 60-degree weather in January and February in Truckee. Makes me ill.

I got together with a few of my daughter’s friends today, all very normie suburban soccer moms, and they’re pissed. The stuff they were saying was full-throated “abolish ICE” and “ICE is a militia” language, not even remotely soft on the issue.
There’s a rally going on in Boston rn and they’re chanting “we’re not cold, we’re not afraid, MN taught us to be brave!” and I might cry
Too obvious a point even to make, perhaps. But there was no “unrest” in Minneapolis before ICE and CBP showed up. ICE and CBP are the cause of the chaos…and the killings.
Get them out of there.
