Ucupaint continues replace SP for me! There are good unique features in sp but nothing that can't be mimicked in blender, and staying in one program is way comfier and faster

Next up I'll try wood filler mixed with acetone. Not quite self-leveling, but hopefully more durable to further processing...

Smoothing out the print lines safely without harsh chemicals is still a bit of a struggle. I thought I struck gold with the self-leveling property of PVA glue mixed with a resin cast, but alas, it's still not quite perfect. (will peel/chip off if the print's not properly sanded)

Having made the Hollow Knight figure, this was clearly meant to happen this gift-giving season.🎁🤓

Unsolicited artist advice of the day: if you're a freelancer with no back up devices or storage, remember to pick a few things up in the black Friday sales. Even a pen drive to back up your projects so if you have a catastrophic hard drive failure you wont lose everything..learn from my mistakes. 😅

I would not be where I am now if it wasn't for Blender. I'm now in a position to be able to pay it all back, since there was no barrier to entry then. And I wish it'll stay that way for decades to come, for all the new artists we wouldn't meet otherwise! Consider a dono maybe every time you update

Same! Surprisingly many don't understand the difference between 2D and 3D since it's all 'flat' on their screen, and Live2D riggers are really pushing the limits these days. But I think it's just mainly ppl not having the understanding of how things behave under the hood. 😅

Right??! Just knowing what was going on would help tolerate it, but it's doubly annoying listening to it and not having an answer 😭 and I personally know two other ppl with a neighbour like this as well. Its weird!
