Having covered Alaska politics for a couple of years recently including during her house term this will still be a difficult race but she is probably the only Democrat in the state who would have a chance.

There is growing evidence that Trump and his team although running for years against the NeoCons are now one upping them as neo-colonialists. The thought seems to be pin prick military attacks and lots of threats will get all the goodies without occupation
What would happen if the US used military pressure against a fellow NATO Nation? Is there any provision within the NATO agreement for that? Or does it just end NATO instantly?
