😔 I think Elisabeth left the planet the day after David Tennant’s birthday, which made it all the more poignant.
Just watched the film “On The Beach” from 1959 - it’s a brilliant film, I cried at the end. It’s bittersweet, the bits of comic relief are much-needed… I missed the start, so I caught up with it on Prime Video. They’ve remade it but I bet it doesn’t have a fraction of the subtleties of the original.
