With how bad most of last year was, and the first few months of this year, I'm just trying to find some kind of joy and happiness in things again. Hoping focusing on the games I'm playing and my trip to Japan in a few months will help with that.

I think it does work on Steam Deck, I played it on Switch though. The Switch and PS4 are the "complete" versions. They have more content and improved art than the one on Steam. It sucks they never released the 'Dreams of the Revenants Edison' on Steam.

Fata Morgana is a VN that will stay in my mind forever. It is a masterpiece.

I was first thinking of getting Guardians of Azuma for Switch 2 but now maybe PS5... still undecided. But I have a big backlog I want to work on a bit more before I buy it so I have time to decide.

This is one of the many reasons why I love The Witcher series. The depth to the world and lore.

Finished RE9 and ordered a pizza from this place nearby that has curry pizzas... I have been curious for a while so decided to try it out. Got me a butter chicken pizza. It's pretty good! 😋

#17 Resident Evil Requiem

Easily in my top 3 of the series now. From start to finish this game was phenomenal. I didn't want to stop playing and immediately wanted to jump back in to start again. Capcom continues to be one of the best developers out there, they have not missed in years!

#16 Trails to Azure

I *finally* went back to this game after a long break from Trails (got burned out by all the reading lol), and enjoyed it despite already knowing the events that occur due to the Cold Steel games taking place at the same time.

Now for Reverie!

I really enjoyed this game. It was cute, but with a serious message of how we are ruining nature. Had a bittersweet ending ending, but I really liked it.

A very short, but very sweet and heartwarming little game about delivering mail, and doing silly cat shenanigans, with a great ending. Very cute! I loved it!

#13 Bye Sweet Carole

Another narrative horror adventure with a great art style, this time hand drawn resembling old Disney style. It was mostly exploring and puzzle solving but introduced some simple combat near the end. Good story as well.

#12 The Midnight Walk

A "cozy horror" narrative adventure game with a absolutely fantastic Tim Burton-esque art style. Very enjoyable and Potboy was cute! Lol
Need to try it in VR now.
