As a Floridian, I never thought about sandhill cranes being in places more north, especially Nebraska. Absolutely amazing photos!

Dale is home. I love Dale.
Y'all, I'm getting a cat. This is Dale. I pick Dale up tomorrow morning.
He was new to the shelter, didn't care for the other cats, but was so sweet towards me.
Started playing Katamari this past weekend. Started with We β€οΈ Katamari 'cause it was on sale for $10 on Steam, but I'm definitely gonna have to buy the others after I'm done. It's so much fun and so beautiful.
Fuck ICE
Abolish ICE
Gahhh!!! I love the new (old) light in my kitchen! Got rid of the very out-of-place 80s/90s pendant that was there and replaced it with this beauty from 1969 that my dad saved me from his house when they renovated.
Literally have a pillow out of the GAYEST Hanna-Barbera character π
My dad came to my house yesterday to bring me his old gun safe as a gift, and I totally forgot to hide my Snagglepuss throw pillow.
My dad doesn't know I'm not straight, or at least he didn't until yesterday π He didn't say anything, but he DEFINITELY saw it, lmao.
Mine was Fast & Furious. Not the fantastic original, The Fast and The Furious, but one of the million sequels. So I guess my 2026 is gonna be fast, furious, and repetitive?
It feels like this whole week is fighting me with annoying little thing after annoying little thing. Ugh...
Trying something different. Swaying away from using Deluxe as my main sona for now. Just feels like time for a change. Been really feeling my skunk boy, Langston, for a while now.
Sick ass Osprey spotted outside my work today.
I've been watching Carl the Collector, and it's so sweet and wholesome and I love it so much!
Thanks!
I'm absolutely in love with the Montblanc! I got it in a lot of pens from a doctor's estate a couple weeks ago. I definitely never thought I'd own a Montblanc. I can see why they tend to be so highly praised, though. It writes so well and is super comfortable in longer writing sessions.
Oh, and also, fountain pens aren't the only thing I collect, so don't think that I'm only thinking that because I collect fountain pens. That alone certainly wouldn't be if concern. It's compounded with typewriters, clocks, watches, cameras, etc. that leads me to maybe think that way.
I'm thinking my father might be too. I'll be looking into it. Luckily, my best friend's family runs a small org that creates events and such for families with autistic children, and my brother is a teacher who worked with kids with special needs for years. So maybe I'll talk with them first.
It's a regular old purple Sheaffer Skrip cartridge. It looks like they do make it in bottled ink as well: www.gouletpens.com/products/she...
Anyways, I gotta figure out where to go to be evaluated that takes my insurance and won't cost me an arm and a leg because my finances are absolutely fucked right now.
I don't wanna just jump to conclusions, but... I feel like it's possible. But I also feel like if I get evaluated and I'm not, then I'm going to feel like an idiot that I even thought I might be. I don't know. I feel really confused about the whole thing, honestly.
I mean; I collect some strange/unique things, I'm anxious and terrible with social interactions, having my routine messed with upsets me incredibly in most instances, I'm kinda particular about the way certain things should be done, etc. etc.
Getting back into fountain pens. I expanded my collection quite a bit over the past few weeks.
On a possibly related note, I'm considering getting formally evaluated for autism.
Can't believe I'd never watched "The Birds" before just now. Decided to get it a couple weeks ago to watch on Halloween. It was really good. And pretty cool to watch a classic 1963 horror movie in my 1964 house!
Pfft... You peasants keep eating that bog-standard trash garlic, I'll be having...
Only God can stop me.
Finally deleted Twitter from my phone. Not sure why it took me so long.
Coming to the realization that I like musicals. Am I becoming super gay?
Watching Andy Griffith when Barney pulls over Gomer and starts to write him a ticket for...
"Comitting a 9-11"
I bust out laughing.
Just learned that Australians call floats (like a root beer float), spiders. Why? Also, is there a soft drink that is typically used like here in the U.S. with root beer?
Just totally normal stuff.
